HHW Social Committee is excited to be partnering with Yoga & Bodywork with Amber Perry to offer a Restorative Yoga class. If you have attended any class, body work, or retreats with Amber, then you know that this is a MUST attend event! Amber will be offering a class specifically for HHW that focuses on building an at-home restorative practice you can easily implement on your own. Attend HHW's Mental Wellness Retreat! Hear from peers living with mental illness and professionals in the fields of mental health and wellness including clinical therapists and yoga instructors. Tickets are donation based. Your donation will cover your ticket for the event including access to all speakers, activities, and meals. Dessert and refreshments will be offered on Friday evening and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Friday evening events will take place from 7pm-10pm with desserts, refreshments, and a peer speaker. Saturday events will take place from 8am-5pm with breakfast and lunch included. Speakers and guided wellness activities will be offered. ***Rooms are booked separately from cost of event. You can choose to book a room on your own with the Country Inn and Suites. Staying at the hotel is not required to attend the event. Register today! "Talk to yourself like you would someone you love." - Brene Brown The voices inside our head are often downright mean, critical, and ugly. The negative self-talk has a direct impact on our health in all domains - mental, physical, spiritual, emotional, personal, professional, etc. This interactive workshop will address this much need aspect of health.
